Identifying a typeface

I’ve had great success with these two services when trying to identify typefaces.

If you have an image of the font- try whatthefont… 70% of the time, this is the only step you’ll need.

If not, try identifont, (which asks you a series of questions to narrow down the options within their database).

Lastly, if all else fails- the forums over at whatthefont are excellent (You’ll usually get an answer from someone the same day).

This app is absolutely insane- I wish this video showed all it’s capable of.

It’s basically a 2d physics engine that REALLY shows off the power of the iphone.

Forget monkeyball, this is the best time-waster I’ve seen in a while.
