The “Reflect” table is an LED board embedded inside a table that monitors the sound levels of people’s conversations with an array of microphones around the exterior. The multi-color LEDs show the sound levels of the chatter of those speaking so that they can get a visual picture of who is dominating the conversation.

I can’t find any additional info on this, but it’s from the show Maximum Exposure- so I’m leaning towards it being real.
For instant sonic fairy dust sprinkled on any of your multimedia projects, look no further than a piece called “The Aquarium” from the musical suite, “The Carnival of Animals” by French composer, Camille Saint-Saëns.
We’ve all heard this countless times in anything trying to be Tim Burton-esque, but it really struck an emotional chord with me watching the trailer for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button which you can view here.
Could watch these all day… Scratch that- my head starts to hurt after a minute, but they’re still fascinating.

Will Wright has brought the goodness… Just making a creature and giving it a test drive is as fun as any game I’ve played recently. Bonus points for releasing a mac version same day- which I’m down to see more of from developers.
This is a pretty rad experiment- you have a bunch of options to customize an audio/visual experience that makes you feel how you want to feel.
I somehow missed this brilliant ad that got dugg the hell up yesterday.
